"Singing to a differen't tune......."
Thank you to Delaware City!
Look at all the heads lining the rail? That is only half of the people you can see. The wonderful residents came to see TAPS and crew off. At 3:30am upon returning to the dock after the show, there was a couple of hundred waiting in the cold to get to meet "us" and thank everyone for coming to Fort Delaware. What a great town!!!
Thank you to TAPS for being real people that I have immediately felt like a part of the group. Thank you to SciFi Channel for allowing us to tag along and see an incredible piece of history. Yes, Josh, you now have friends in the Mid-West and I learned a new admiration for you and your craft. Say "Hi" to Sonia for us, she should be so proud of you. Thanks to Lauren & Danielle for becoming such great friends that share a weird common thread AND I really wouldn't have thrown you into the moat to eliminate you (at least with any witnesses, ha ha). And, of course, Thanks to Ken Healey and the whole staff of the Briarhurst for letting us exploit and opening up about your night life.
Tammila
I would like to thanks everyone from TAPS for your honesty and being sincere, and for Grant & Jason for becoming friends (no Jason you can't drive off in the speeding golf cart and steal my wife). Thank you to Steve,Tango, and Joe for being hiilarious with us in the wee hours of the morning. Thanks to everyone at SCIFI for allowing me to be a part of something wonderful. To Lauren, Danielle, and my wife Tammila for keeping us all slap happy at 3 am in the "chicken koop". Thanks also to Linda at Fort Delaware for sharing more personal history of the Island with me. To the Caterer's for their hospitality and incredible omelletes at 1:30 am. And a HUGE thank you to Josh Gates for helping keep everything moving forward and putting everything into perspective. Thanks to Danielle's better half and to Lauren Telarole for letting me take care of these incredible ladies at the island ( I would have to vote you off the island and keep them. No alliances! Sorry Junko for saying Alliance)To Pauline Perez of Gem Group for everything you all did at the Stanley Hotel you are one in a million. And a huge thank you to Billy Ward and the Stanley Hotel Staff for eveything you have done for us and your wonderful hotel. You have always treated us like family and can't say enough good about you.Erick
